Work is currently proceeding apace on the literary project, A Tale of Two Grandmothers. The first half of the book will probably be finished during the summer.  This covers my Scottish grandmother and her career in archaeology, during which she made some significant contributions to worlds of Pictish and Early Christian studies.

In March, the script Shadows of the Night, will be entered for the renowned PAGE International Screenwriting Awards in L.A . Results and feedback in October.

Using techniques learnt from scriptwriting an older, literary project on the life and times of the wine god, Bacchus, through the centuries, has being re-worked. Bacchus: Footnotes to History is now being submitted to publishers. As part of the illustrative concept, reliefs have been planned as motifs  that head each of the four "books" or chapters. These are in the process of being formed and cast  as medallions.

Not to be confused with my cast medallions are my minted coins. These function as poetic mantras offering silent but not always peaceful oases of stillness in an otherwise turbulent world.
