Schildkröte aus chinesischen Knoten CHINESE KNOT TURTLE

Es gibt eine Anleitung für Schildkröten aus chinesischen Knoten auf craftster, und weil die Viecher so niedlich sind, wollte ich das auch mal probieren.

Mein größtes Problem war es, die Spannung zu regeln, und da dachte ich, probier das Ding doch mal als Fingerwebarbeit. Vielleicht macht man das ja in China immer so, keine Ahnung, mir schien es naheliegend.
Und dies waren meine Arbeitsschritte:
I love the little chinese knot turtles that sarahknot has posted on craftster, and I wanted to try the pattern she gave. I had trouble keeping up the tension. The original turtle seems to be made with needles, which didn't work that well for me, so I tried to make it a fingerweaving project, with the help of a hook at the last step.




This is as far as I got. Every time I start to pull the turtle together, something goes wrong, and I end up with less knots than I should. I'll have to ask for advice on finishing.
Tja, und an dieser Stelle hauts mich dann immer raus, denn sobald ich den Knoten zusammenziehen will, geht er wieder auf.

Leia mit Zöpfen und ein Schuh

Dies sind nicht wirklich swap-Projekte, sondern eher Zeug, mit dem ich rumtrödle und / oder ein paar Sachen ausprobiere, die tatsächlich für swaps bestimmt sind.

Statt eines großen Leia-Amigurumi für den COWS4 bei craftster bin ich mal wieder dem "wie klein kann ich werden"-Impuls gefolgt und habe eine Leia angefangen: Hier noch mit offenen Zöpfen und ohne weitere Details.

Und hier ein Hausschuh:
Hi klum78, please have a look at this. Everyone has gone so crazy for this super easy mary jane pattern that I thought I'd give it a try. It is 25 cm long and 8 cm wide, as you requested, but honestly, this doesn't look like something anyone could wear. I must have gotten it wrong somehow. Would you say that this shoe could fit your foot? I wanted to ask before I make another one. Maybe it needs to be just a little bit wider?


Oh, and this is how far I am with the nativity set. I am a bit embarassed that I have been so slow on this, but it's still progressing.
