... the UEFA Champions League ...

AC Mailand - FC Bayern München

PSV Eindhoven - FC Liverpool

AS Rom - Manchester United

FC Chelsea - FC Valencia

... and the UEFA-Cup draw:

AZ Alkmaar - SV Werder Bremen

Bayer Leverkusen - CA Osasuna

FC Sevilla - Tottenham Hotspur

Espanyol Barcelona - Benfica Lissabon

Some matches seem to be easy, others not. But all in all very interesting games for the quarter final stage.

Bremen and Leverkusen qualified

Written on 03/15/2007 at 19:01

My bets did not match exactly with the results of the two UEFA-Cup matches, but both teams qualified for the quarter final. The draw of the quarter final will be tomorrow at 1.00pm. After this draw I will post all matches of the Champions League and the UEFA-Cup quarter finals, including kick-off times.

But until this draw we have to find the last teams for the UEFA-Cup quarter final, maybe it will be Paris, Sevilla, Donezk or ...

We'll see.

What is the "Mission to Sweden 2009"?

Written on 02/ 1/2007 at 21:16

So what is the "Mission to Sweden 2009"? Actually I'm studying business management in the 5th semester at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. The standard period of study is 9 semester. And i expect to finish it in the time of 9 semester.

M:S:2009 is my aim after studying business management. I'll try to get a traineeship in Sweden, because I'm very interested in the country and the big swedish cities Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö. Especially the South of Sweden with the 3rd biggest swedish city Malmö is very interesting. The seaport of Malmö is a logistics centre. Considering that I study "Logistics" and "Controlling" this would be a great alternative for a traineeship.

After my exams in February and March I'll try to contact some swedish firms (some with offices in Germany). So in April you will read new information about M:S:2009.

Out of topic: In the right menu you see the link "Xdrive Photos" ... there you can find pictures from my hometown Halle/Saale. You need my login to see the pictures. So if you want to see them, contact me.

Welcome to my homepage "M:S:2009". Here you'll find everything about me and my mission to sweden. I'll upload some pictures of my hometown Halle in the near future.

Today I have found a website about something I'm learning in my study. It's about the TSP (Traveling Salesman Problem). In May 2004 a research team finished their work of finding the shortest tour through all 24,987 swedish cities. It's about 72,500 kilometers long. You'll find everything about it on this website: Optimal Tour of Sweden
