MUN-DenHaag; Registration-day22.03.2009

After getting up early in the morning we met at the hotel lobby for a strengthening breakfast. With a filled stomach we tackled our first task to register at worldmun. At the cityhall we were astonished by the crowd of delegates waiting for being registered. The buildings and the beautiful weather were a great adventure for our eyes. It is nothing that can be described, it must be experienced...

2451 Delegates from 275 universities from 53 countries!

We've already made friends with some nice guys from the USA (pictures coming soon...)

Tomorrow we will have a tough day: commitee sessions from 9 am to 12 pm and 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. During lunchtime (kartoffelsalat by Albert Heijn..?) there will be a Round table with Ambassador Richard Butler AC on the topic of Nuclear Weapons.

Want to join us? Maybe next semester? Be MUNiLU-member..!

After a long journey by train we finally reached our destination, The Hague. Our first impression was unforgetable. Alone the foreign language gave us a warm welcome. Yet, this might also have been due to the beautiful sunshine and the wonderful weather condition. After registration at our hotel Wilhelmina we took a tour around the city leading us to the marvellous beach. The fresh breeze from the sea led us to do a nice walk along the northern beach that is to our fortune only two minutes from our hotel. The sea, the sun and the ambience was just impressive and spectacular.
